Trio in dock over jewellery store raid

THREE men appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday accused of robbing a jewellers in the town of Rolex watches worth £37,000.

Corey Fregis, 18, Kiley Nightingale, 21, and Malchi Jones, 19, were arrested after sledghammers were used to smash a window at Fraser Hart in Fremlin Walk on Wednesday, February 13.

Fregis, of Maxted Road, Peckham, Nightingale, of Perry Vale, Forest Hill, and Jones, of Glengarry Road, East Dulwich, all south east London, were remanded in custody until May 2, when pleas will be entered.

Judge Philip Statman said a possible "trial window" was between May 27 and July 4.
