Geoffrey Paulsen set a new club record of four centuries in a Premier Division season for Tunbridge Wells in the Shepherd Neame Kent League last Saturday.

Paulsen hit 100 not out as he figured in an unbroken third-wicket stand of 199 with Will Stickler (84 not out). The pair carried Wells to an eight-wicket victory over St Lawrence & Highland Court who had set a target of 238-7.

The Mote enjoyed a four-wicket victory over Ashford (148) in Division 1. James Hodgson led the run chase with 73 as they won with eight overs to spare.

Duncan Brown was Addington Village’s saviour after the Division 4 leaders were in trouble at Rainham.

Addington were dismissed for 128 and were grateful to skipper Neil Scott (36) for reaching three figures.

But when Rainham replied Brown, who only made four with the bat, returned 6-34 from 16.1 overs as the home side collapsed to 113 all out.

The Offham bowlers suffered at the hands of Farningham in Division 5. Leonard Watt’s three wickets cost 80 runs and Daniel Blakeburn took 2-75 as Farningham amassed 284-7. Gittings (83) gave Offham hope but they fell 82 runs short.
