An up-and-coming Larkfield musician has achieved a professional breakthough by appearing on Channel 4’s Celebrity Come Dine With Me.

Guitarist Nick Wilson of Macaulay Close, Larkfield, can be seen entertaining celebrity diners Laila Morse, aka Big Mo from EastEnders; comedian Bobby Davro; DJ Dane Bowers; and model Dani Behr, on Sunday September 20 at 8pm.

The guitarist filmed the show earlier this year, performing two numbers - Big Yellow Taxi by Joni Mitchell, followed by Jason Mraz's song I'm Yours - in the garden at Dani Behr's house.

"The second song was a last minute personal request from Dani" he said, "the day before was a complete panic."

But he said the model was "lovely" and that Bobby Davro was not annoying.

"It was a great experience" he said.
