It was a case of 'deal or no deal' for actress Cheryl Fergison today.
Best known for playing Eastenders' loveable Heather Trott, she spent most of the day promoting the services of the Premier Inn hotel in Maidstone's London Road.
But after telling followers about a special rate of £29 for a room for those who come to her show, a check with the hotel revealed the price was no longer available.
It is the venue she is staying at after performing her one-woman show at Maidstone's Hazlitt Theatre on Thursday.
The tweets began on a positive note. One read: "So it's the premier inn 5-11 London road Maidstone that we are all staying in and partying after lol well the bars open !! Put it that way."
Ms Fergison then told her followers she doesn't drink, so would be ordering lots of soda water and limes (at the Premier Inn, London Road, Maidstone).
Another suggestion from the actress was that people could book the venue for a Valentine's night stay.
And the status of the towels got a mention in this short text: "We are staying at premier inn cos they got fluffy towels and nice staff especially in Maidstone where we will b staying on the night of show.
But then came an exchange that revealed a deal the actress had in mind had possibly expired.
She asked the hotel: "Have you stopped the deal when people are booking my show if they want to stay in Maidstone it was £29 online?"
To which they replied "Hi Cheryl, our rates work subject to availability, they may increase dependent on demand, thanks."
Ms Fergison thanked them and pledged to stop advertising it at that price.
Her show, on Thursday, is expected to reveal the highs and lows of her personal life - and that of Heather Trott, who fans took to their hearts.
The twitter exchange comes a day after she visited Sheerness to promote the event.
Her stage appearance begins at 7pm at the Hazlitt Theatre in Earl Street.
