Police arrested two people on suspicion of cultivating cannabis in Lenham.

Officers attended an address in Rose Lane on August 14 and reported suspicious activity on the site - leading to a drugs warrant being issues.

A 34-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman, both from Maidstone, arrived at the scene whilst police were in attendance - they were subsequently arrested.

A number of cannabis plants and drugs paraphernalia was discovered inside the building.

The pair have been bailed until Thursday, December 10, pending further enquiries.
