One lane of the M20 between Maidstone and Ashford had to be closed after a crash involving two vehicles.

The accident happened on the Londonbound carriageway of the motorway between junction 9 (Ashford) and junction 8 (Maidstone) at shortly before 4pm.

Two people suffered minor injuries.

Police and ambulance crews attended and the incident was later handed over to Highways Authority staff.
