Eddie Powell, the Ukip prospective Parliamentary candidate for the Maidstone and the Weald constituency, is hosting a public meeting in Maidstone on Friday.

Harrietsham businessman Mr Powell is also his party’s group leader on Maidstone Borough Council, having been elected last May.

The meeting is one of a series he has held to give the town's voters the chance to meet him and ask questions about Ukip policies.

All are welcome to the St Paul’s Church Hall in Boxley Road from 7.30pm.
