More on KentOnline
Calling all feline lovers! From the British short hair to the Sphynx, wonderful cats from around the globe are set to come to Kent.
The Loving Cats Worldwide (LCWW) Group's Cat Extravaganza, an international feline show and exposition, will take place in Maidstone this Easter weekend.
The festival will see the most beautiful breeds, such as the bengal, maine coon, the American curl, and many more.
Cat lovers can get close to them and learn more about these intelligent animals.
The many furry friends will also be competing for the ultimate prizes of best kitten, best cat, best alter, and best household pet.
Founder Steven Meserve said to be thrilled to bring Cat Extravaganza to Maidstone once again, labelled as one of his favourite locations.
He added: "You can expect to be amazed at all the beautiful cats this weekend, remember to ask the owners before touching, but there will be plenty of opportunities for you to get up close and personal with your favourite breeds, and learn more about some rarer breeds in one of our four judging rings!
Thank you for supporting our crazy hobby and we hope you have an amazing time appreciating our feline friends as much as we do!"
The event, part of LCWW's world tour, will take place at Maidstone Market Hall, Baker Lane, on April 16 and 17.
From 10am to 4pm, visitors can enjoy their love for their pets by giving something back to them, as there will be plenty of ways to spoil them with treats and gifts.
Cat Extravaganza is the ideal event for the entire family. Tickets are priced at £12 for adults, £10 for concessions and over 12s, and £5 for children under 12.
To purchase tickets visit the LCWW website. Alternatively, you can purchase tickets on the door.
