The M20 has been reopened after a crash this morning.
Lane one of the coastbound carriageway, just before junction five for Aylesford, was cleared of debris and reopened to traffic at 9.50am.
It was closed after the intial accident, at 7.24am, and reopened at 7.45am to allow traffic to pass. The vehicle was on the hard shoulder.
But fire fighters were called at about 8am after the female driver of the blue Peugeot 306 complained of neck pain.
The motorway had to be closed again for fire fighters to remove the roof of the vehicle to allow paramedics to assess her condition.
She has been taken to Maidstone Hospital to be checked.
The cause of the crash is not known but a police spokesman said a lorry is thought to have been involved.
