A van and a lorry collided on a busy slip road early this morning.

Ambulance crews and police were called to the M20 junction 7 ( Detling ) just after 7.30am.

Spokesman James Walker said: "Kent Police was called at 7.35am to a collision between a van and a lorry on the slip road joining the M20 Londonbound at junction 8.

"Officers remain at the scene conducting inquiries.

"South East Coast Ambulance Service were also called and one person has been taken to a local hospital for treatment."

There are no reported traffic delays.
