Van fire on M20 between junction 8 and 9

A section of the M20 was closed this afternoon after a van went up in flames.

The incident happened at around 1.30pm between junction 8 for Leeds and 9 for Ashford.

Traffic was briefly held just past the junction 8 slip road and two fire engines are in attendance.

It is not known if anyone was injured but one lane has now been opened.
