Burglars have made off with cash after breaking into a man's home.

War medals were also thought to have been taken in the raid at the house in Garden Close, in the Senacre area of Maidstone, but these were subsequently found.

The money is believed to have been stolen between 1.30pm and 6.45pm on Tuesday.
