Children and residents in a Kent town were treated to a magical Disney-inspired parade.
Party entertainers Snow Princess Parties, held a Princess Parade through the streets of Maidstone.
Eight princesses and superhero characters walked down the town's High Street from 1pm to 3pm last Wednesday.
They stopped to dance, sing and have photos taken with boys and girls.
The parade was completely free and the local community was encouraged to dress-up for the occasion.
Stopping points included Jubilee Square, Week Street and Brenchley Gardens.
More than 450 people responded to the event on Facebook and for those who could not make it, the parade was streamed live.
Speaking before the parade, Kelsey Parker, director of Snow Princess Parties said: “I’m super excited to be able to bring the first of many princess parades to the Maidstone streets.
"We don’t want any princess-obsessed little ones to miss out on meeting their favourite character, and I am hoping to make this an annual event to mark and celebrate the beginning of the summer holidays.”
Sarah Zeneli, development manager of the company said: “After successful parades in our other regions, we are very excited to be bringing a Princess Parade to Maidstone.
"Our aim is to bring some magic, love and joy to young ones; and give them an unforgettable experience right on their doorstep!”
Afterwards Kelsey posted a message on their Facebook page saying: "Just this morning I was shaking in my glittery dancing shoes from the nerves of it all.
"But after turning the corner, and seeing the crowd that gathered around us, I shouldn't have worried at all.
"With my gorgeous princess and superhero crew behind me, we pulled off a spectacular parade; meeting all your little ones, music, live singing, dancing, and so many photos that my cheeks hurt.
"What became one of the most surreal moments in my life, leading a princess parade up the high street and having so many of you waving and smiling.
"A huge shout out to all the parents and their kids who came along and sung with their loudest voice."
