Tonbridge Angels failed to capitalise on a lightning start as they were pegged back by Weston-super-Mare and had to settle for a 2-2 draw in Somerset on Saturday.
On the back of two straight defeats, Chris Piper gave Angels the perfect start with the opening goal just 20 seconds after kicking-off, firing past Weston keeper Lloyd Irish.
However Marcus Duharty netted past Lee Worgan just after the half-hour to send the sides in level at the break.
Frannie Collin scored his 28th goal of the season on 55 minutes to restore Angels' lead but substitute Kane Ingram snatched a point for the hosts with a cool finish 15 minutes from time.
With two games remaining Angels are 10th, just three points outside a top-eight finish in Blue Square Bet South.
