Members of the local party are meeting at the YMCA in Melrose Close, Maidstone, this Friday at 7pm to select their choice.
There are five candidates in the running are Neasa MacErlean from Canterbury, Greg Webb from Tunbridge Wells, Graham Colley from Rochester, former Maidstone councillor James Willis who now lives in Gravesend, and last year's Mayor of Maidstone, Cllr Dave Naghi from Mote Avenue, Maidstone.
