Maidstone United failed to produce an upset as they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Blue Square South high-flyers Woking on Saturday.
The opening goal came after just nine minutes when Aswad Thomas's cross found its way to Wilfried Domoraud and he turned Peter Hawkins before firing home.
The second came in stoppage-time when Luke Medley was sent clear to calmly beat Jamie Turner in the Stones goal.
United had come within a whisker of an equaliser just after the hour mark when Dean Hernadez-Bradshaw's effort cannoned back off the crossbar.
But in truth Maidstone were indebted to keeper Turner for keeping the scoreline down as he produced a string of superb saves to deny Giuseppe Sole, Jamie Hand, Domoraud and Medley.
The game was held up for 10 minutes during the second half when the referee suffered an injury and one of the Stones supporters had to step in to run the line.
Tonbridge v Bromley
Bromley got the better of Tonbridge in a west Kent derby in the FA Cup third qualifying round at Longmead on Saturday.
In a first half that lasted 67 minutes after an injury to the referee, the Lillywhites went in front in the 11th minute of added time when Ryan Hall volleyed in superbly from the edge of the box.
The second came five minutes before full-time when Donal O'Sullivan finished off a fine move involving Hall and Ashley Carew.
