A woman has been charged with murder after a 25-year-old man was stabbed yesterday.

Police were called to Southfields Way, Harrietsham, near Maidstone, at around 1.30am on Tuesday.

Members of the ambulance service also attended and the victim was taken to hospital where he later died.

He has now been named by the police as Jack Cadwallader.

Paige Poulton, of Southey Road, Haringey, London, was arrested and has since been charged with murder.

The 19-year-old will appear before Margate Magistrates’ Court today (July 3).

Police say another man, who was also arrested, has now been released without charge.

An investigation is being led by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.

Poulton will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on July 5.
