A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences after a car was pulled over.

Officers stopped a suspicious vehicle in Lower Boxley Road, Maidstone in the early hours of this morning.

After searching it, they found a quantity of suspected cocaine under the driver's seat.

A 38-year-old woman from Maidstone was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

She remains in police custody while enquiries continue.
