Maidstone: Woman arrested in Barming murder probe released

A woman arrested on suspicion of murder after a man’s body was found at a set of flats has been released under investigation.

The man was found dead at Eastfield House in Woodford Road, Barming, on Tuesday, November 21.

Police, an ambulance and forensics teams were called to the scene around 10.30pm on Tuesday, and police and forensics remained at the scene more than a day afterwards.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission has also been informed after it emerged the victim had been in contact with police before his death.

Two men also arrested on suspicion of murder were released by police, pending further investigation.

A post-mortem on the man's body took place on Thursday.
