A woman had to be cut free from her car after a collision in Boxley.

The accident involved two cars - a Hyundai Getz and a Jaguar XJ Sport.

It happened at Yelsted Lane with the junction of Lisding Road around 10.20am today.

Firefighters used cutting equipment to free the woman from her vehicle.

A driver was treated by ambulance crews for a back injury, not believed to be serious. Police were also at the scene.
