A woman walked away unhurt after her car flipped onto its side.

Fire fighters from Maidstone were called to a roundabout on the A20 near the Ramada Hotel, Bearsted at about 9.15pm on Sunday, May 2).

The woman escaped without any serious injuries but was taken to Maidstone Hospital.

A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue, who were at the scene for about 30 minutes, said: “The lady lost control of her vehicle and it ended up in a field and on its side, but she managed to get out without any real injuries.”

Police and paramedics were also on the scene.
