A woman had to be resuscitated after collapsing in a supermarket.

The shopper was at Tesco in Grove Green at 3.15pm yesterday when she suffered an unspecified medical incident.

South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) sent three vehicles to the store, while the air ambulance was also called out.

Paramedics were able to revive the woman before taking her to Maidstone Hospital for further treatment.

Her current condition is not known.
