A woman was robbed of her handbag and jewellery in a daylight attack.

The 29-year-old was approached by a man, in his early 20s, at the junction of Brishing Road and Roman Way, in Boughton Monchelsea.

The offender snatched her belongings and ran away through Park Wood recreation ground.

The vicitm was not injured in the robbery, which happened at 9.25am yesterday.

Detectives have released a e-fit image of the suspect.

He was wearing a dark coloured top with the hood up, mid-blue jeans and white trainers.
