A woman was cut free from her car following a crash in Coxheath this morning.

Firefighters were called to Park Way in Coxheath shortly before 11am and used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the roof of the car.

The woman, in her late 50s, was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.

Crews left the scene shortly after 11.30.

The road was closed for the duration.
