Police say they are not treating the death of a woman at an address near a town centre yesterday as suspicious.
Emergency services were called to an address near Tonbridge Road in Maidstone at 1.20pm, after reports of concerns for the welfare of a person there.
Two police cars and two ambulances attended the scene, along with two officers who were seen holding a ramming device known as an enforcer.
In a statement today, a police spokesman said: "Officers attended the scene along with South East Coast Ambulance Service where a woman was pronounced deceased.
"Officers are treating the death as non-suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner."
Her next of kin have been informed.
