Two boys, aged 11 and 14, have been arrested after 30 graves were vandalised.

Vases and lights on the graves were smashed in the Ascot section of Maidstone Cemetery in Sutton Road.

The vandalism happened at some point between 4pm on Wednesday, July 23 and 8.20pm the following day.

The boys have been released on bail pending further inquiries and are due to return to Maidstone police station on August 6.
