Charlie Seaman has rejoined Maidstone on a permanent deal after leaving Doncaster.
Right-back Seaman had two loan spells at the Gallagher Stadium.
He initially joined on loan from Bournemouth in January 2020.
After recovering from a hamstring injury, he made his debut in a 3-0 defeat at Eastbourne in March.
That proved to be the final match before the season was curtailed by the Covid pandemic.
Seaman joined Doncaster after being released by Bournemouth, with the Yorkshire club loaning him back to Maidstone for the 2020/21 season.
The Stones were playing behind closed doors as the effects of the pandemic continued to be felt.
He was one of the stand-out players before a second campaign was cut short by the virus.
Seaman, who made 25 starts for Doncaster, had loan spells at Wealdstone and Hartlepool in the 2023/24 campaign.
Stones boss George Elokobi, captain during the defender’s previous spells at the club, was a major factor in the move.
Seaman, 24, said: “I’m really excited.
“The project the club’s going on is something I really wanted to be part of.
“The gaffer was my captain the last time I was here and I learnt a lot from him.
“With him in the role of my manager, I think I’ll learn loads and I’ll really improve here and enjoy it.
“Personally I would always say he’s probably the best captain I’ve ever had just in terms of the lessons he gave me on and off the pitch.
“I used to travel with him every single day to and from training and we used to have chats in the car for hours.
“I feel he’s someone who can get the best out of me. If there’s anyone to do that, I feel like it would be him.
“He was a massive reason as to why I wanted to come here and hopefully I can repay him for bringing me to the club.”
