Ryman League Premier Division leaders Maidstone have injury worries ahead of Leiston’s visit to the Gallagher Stadium on Saturday.

Orlando Smith requires a scan on his knee and is definitely out, while Rory Hill is doubtful with a hamstring problem.

Striker Jack Harris remains sidelined with a knee injury but is making progress and could return in two to three weeks.

Leiston sit 20th but Saunders believes they are in a false position. He said: “They have a few experienced players and I’m surprised to see them down there.

“Anyone who thinks it’s going to be an easy game is mistaken.

“Our main concern is getting players back because we seem to be dropping like flies at the moment.”
