Kent Track & Field Championships 2024: Results and pictures from Julie Rose Stadium in Ashford

The finest athletes in the county gathered at the Julie Rose Stadium in Ashford for the Kent Track & Field Championships.

It was an action-packed weekend with competitors going for glory in senior, under-20, under-17 and under-15 categories.

Blackheath & Bromley dominated top spot on the podium, winning 45 events over two days.

Medway & Maidstone also enjoyed a strong championship, ending with 21 wins, with Tonbridge third on 14.

Cambridge Harriers, based in south-east London, were one behind on 13, with Dartford Harriers winning 11.

Ashford made home advantage count as they triumphed in seven events, with three apiece for Thanet and Invicta East Kent, and two each for Paddock Wood and Folkestone.

Under-20 men: Pole vault: Finn Kitteridge 3.85; 2,000m steeplechase: Harry Fage 6.33.54; 3,000m walk: Jonathan Ellerton 16.50.94.

Under-20 women: 1,500m steeplechase: Isla Spink 6.32.92; Long jump: Daisy Snell 6.08; Javelin: Jessie Sargeant 35.73; Hammer: Sapphire Houston-Ball 43.20.

Under-17 men: 100m: Oji Okoro 11.10; 1,500m: Joseph Scanes 4.09.28; 200m Oji Okoro 22.61; Long jump: Joshua Dako 7.02; Javelin: Ellis Ibrahim 51.15; 1,500m steeplechase: Oliver Ward 5.06.96; Hammer: George Henderson 43.45m.
