MAIDSTONE United have signed former Tonbridge midfielders Peter Overton and Nicky Barnes.

The pair will link up with their former Tonbridge team-mate Lloyd Hume, the new Maidstone manager.

Overton is now in his fourth spell with Maidstone and joins after a hectic 2003/2004 season in which he played for Tonbridge, Bromley, Folkestone and Maidstone before returning to Longmead. Barnes joins from Fisher Athletic.
