Maidstone have signed Portsmouth defender Liam Vincent on a 28-day loan deal.
The Stones have injury concerns over Jerome Binnom-Williams, Joe Ellul and Raphe Brown at the back and needed cover.
Vincent, 19, has trained at the Gallagher and is available for Saturday’s National League opener at Altrincham.
The left-back joined League 1 Pompey from Bromley last summer, signing for an undisclosed fee, but a shin injury kept him on the sidelines.
He finally saw some action this pre-season, scoring a free-kick as Danny Cowley’s side beat Havant 3-0 in a friendly.
Vincent becomes the second member of the Pompey squad to play for Maidstone, with former United star Joe Pigott having moved to Fratton Park on loan from Ipswich for the 2022/23 campaign.
