Lloyd Hume says the Stones line-up may be freshened-up

Boreham Wood v Maidstone United

Maidstone United will look to continue their fine away form when they make the trip to Boreham Wood in Ryman League Premier Division tonight.

The Stones are fourth in the table after Saturday’s 1-0 derby defeat to Tonbridge Angels, but have won their three away games at Heybridge, Hastings and Ramsgate.

Joint-bosses Lloyd Hume and Alan Walker are expected to change the team which slipped to an injury-time defeat at Bourne Park.

Hume said: “The result on Saturday was disappointing - it’s good for us to have a game so soon to get the taste out of our mouths.”

He added: “Boreham Wood is one of the most difficult games for us for an evening game. It causes lots of problems with people having to leave really early to get round there in time."

Nathan Paul and Jay Saunders are eligible for the Stones as their bans for red cards against Ramsgate and Tonbrdge respectively have not kicked-in yet.
