Courtney Tulloch has won his second gold medal of the Commonwealth Games.

The Pegasus gymnast stormed to victory in the rings final, beating England team-mate Nile Wilson.

Tulloch, from Maidstone, scored 14.833 on his favourite apparatus, clear of silver medallist Wilson (14.000).

The 22-year-old had promised a special routine in Australia, including the return of the 'Tulloch', the high-difficulty skill he invented at the World Championships.

Speaking to KentOnline before the Games, Tulloch said: "It's back in the routine. I'm excited. I've got a big routine.

"My target was to get the Tulloch back in the routine and an improved dismount, one of the hardest rings dismounts out there.

"I want to show everyone what I've been doing in the gym on vault and p-bar but it's going to be a good routine on rings and I can't wait to show it."

Tulloch helped England to team gold on Thursday and has the vault final to look forward to tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Pegasus team-mate James Hall finished fifth in the pommel horse final.

Hall, who's already won gold and silver on the Gold Coast, scored 14.063, and completes his campaign on parallel bars and high bar tomorrow.
