Tonbridge Angels return to Longmead Stadium on Tuesday night for a second go at Hayes & Yeading.
Sunday’s FA Cup second qualifying round clash ended all-square, with neither team finding the target.
Tommy Warrilow’s men started the match brightly against their Skrill South rivals Hayes.
Henry Muggeridge went close with a long-range effort before Mark Lovell’s effort was ruled out for offside.
Jake Reid missed a good chance for Phil Babb’s home side midway through the half, while a couple of Phil Appiah efforts failed to trouble the Hayes keeper.
Chances continued to go wide of the mark at both ends in the second half. Lovell headed over for the Angels and Reid again missed the target for the hosts.
Muggeridge was next to see a good chance come to nothing, having done all the hard work in the build-up and immediately down the other end, Tonbridge keeper Clark Masters denied striker Kelvin Bossman.
Hayes keeper Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz made an even better stop to deny Sonny Miles and that was as close as anyone got to scoring.
