Maidstone v AFC Wimbledon
MAIDSTONE United are preparing for their biggest game of the season when AFC Wimbledon visit Bourne Park on Saturday.
Stones biggest home gate this season has been 530 for the visit of Folkestone, but Wimbledon have already sold nearly 800 tickets for the Ryman League Premier Division clash and a crowd of between 1,200 and 1,500 is expected.
A force of 25 stewards will control the crowd - more than four times the usual crew of six - the St John Ambulance will be in attendance and the club have installed extra temporary toilets.
But despite the hype, joint manager Lloyd Hume is only focusing on what will happen on the pitch.
He said: "It's going to be a great occasion and it will be fantastic to have so many fans there. When the fixture list is released, these are the fixtures you look for.
"But we have to remember that there is still only three points up for grabs, whether we play Wimbledon or Leyton.
"We are currently four points off the play-offs but only five points off the relegation zone so it is vital we get a victory so we can start looking up the table rather than down."
