Shoaib Akhtar and Geraint Jones top the bill for the Lashings All-Stars for Sunday’s t20 Festival at the Mote.
Akhtar, one of the quickest bowlers ever to play the game, took more than 400 wickets for Pakistan during a 14-year international career and he’s back with Lashings after first playing for them in 2001.
For Kent fans it could be a last chance to see wicketkeeper Jones on home soil following the news the county will not be offering him a deal for 2015.
Lashings’ squad also includes all-rounder Yasir Arafat, star of Kent’s 2007 t20 win and his Pakistan compatriot, the prolific Mohammad Yousuf.
The t20 triple-header starts at 11am, when Lashings take on the House of Commons and Lords XI in the first semi-final.
The Mote will then play the RAC before the winners meet in the final.
