There will be no more loan signings at Maidstone following the arrival of Premier League defender Jake McCarthy.
Stones have five loan players on the books after McCarthy joined from Bournemouth last night.
The 20-year-old joins Delano Sam-Yorke, Reece Prestedge, Stuart Lewis and Joe Pigott at the Gallagher.
Stones boss Jay Saunders said: "That's it for loans now. You can only have five in your matchday squad so that will be it now.
"Anyone else we get in, we're looking at permanent."
Maidstone have had no problem integrating all the loan players and Saunders, who played with McCarthy's agent, Bobby Bowry, at Gravesend has no worries about his latest signing.
The Stones boss added: "We always do our homework on what they're like as a person.
"Delano, Stuart and Reece have all fitted in well and Joe Pigott knows a few of the lads.
"I know Bobby well and one of the first things he said is what a great lad Jake is.
"We're in a position where you don't mind if one comes in who is a bit different but the ones we've signed are all good lads who have fitted in well.
"To be honest, it would be hard not to fit into our dressing room.
"They're an easy bunch to get on with - they take everyone in."
