Ben Court scored two tries in Maidstone's 31-15 home defeat by Chobham in London 2 South at The Mote on Saturday.
Beaten 111-0 when the two clubs met in Surrey last September, Stones were looking for a good result against the Surrey side who arrived still looking for their first win in 2009.
However injuries to Jack Lamb and Craig Whitehead, saw Maidstone forced to reshuffle with Matt Iles switching to open-side flanker, his third position in as many weeks.
Chobham led 7-0 early on, before Court scored his first try of the afternoon , forcing his way through from five metres out.
Chobham extended their lead to 26-5. five minutes into the second half.
Tom Searles then kicked a penalty for Stones, but Chobham added another try, before Court added a second try 10 minutes from the end, converted by Searles.
Stones were disappointed by this defeat and will be looking for improved performances in the remaining weeks of the season.
