Bury Town v Maidstone

LUIS CUMBERS is definitely available for Maidstone’s FA Trophy 1st Qualifying Round tie at Bury Town this Saturday.

The Gillingham striker is free to play, regardless of the fluctuating managerial situation at Priestfield, but Mario McNish is likely to be rested, after a recurring hamstring problem flared up during Wednesday’s 2-2 draw with Harrow.

Stones’ joint-manager Alan Walker said: "He is a very quick healer, but he’s a had this problem for some time and it’s not fair to the lad to ask him to keep playing through it.

"Touch wood there are no other injury worries."

Suffolk side Bury are currently sixth in Ryman Division 1 North, but Walker conceded the competition wasn’t the club’s top priority.

"We’re going there to win, but my priority is this league," he insisted. "But we’d never go into a game wanting to lose and we’ll pick a side capable of getting a result."
