Jamar Loza is more concerned with keeping Maidstone in the National League than securing a move in the January transfer window.

Former Norwich striker Loza has been tipped to return to the Football League by Stones boss Jay Saunders.

But the Jamaica international is enjoying himself too much at the Gallagher to go looking for a transfer.

He said: “I haven’t spoken to anyone about my future.

“I do need to speak to the club and my agent and we need to get together to see what’s going to happen.

“I’ve said from the start my main goal was to play full-time because I still need a lot of improving as a player and missing out on those extra sessions isn’t good but, at the same time, I’m really enjoying it here.

“Since the first day, I’m loving every minute, playing every game, so it’s going to be a difficult decision.

“There’s no point just leaving for anywhere, especially if I’m enjoying it that much here.

“It has to be the right move but I’m not really looking to be honest.

“If someone comes knocking I’ll have a listen and see but I’m really happy here and right now I just want to make sure this club stays in the league where it belongs.

“The lads here are brilliant, the manager’s great, so I want to do whatever I can to make sure they stay up.”
