Former Maidstone manager Hakan Hayrettin has been sacked by Dulwich Hamlet - almost two years to the day since leaving the Gallagher Stadium.
Hayrettin departs Champion Hill with Dulwich 15th in the Isthmian Premier, 11 points off the play-off places, after losing 4-3 at home to bottom side Bognor Regis on Saturday.
It was a third successive defeat for the south London club, who have won only one of their past 10 games.
“The club board has taken the decision to terminate the contract of manager Hakan Hayrettin and his management team with immediate effect,” said Dulwich.
“A further statement will be issued in due course but we would like to thank Hak and his team for the service to the club and wish them success in the future.”
Hayrettin led Maidstone to the National League South title in 2022 but was sacked on January 9 2023 following a run of six successive National League defeats.
He was named Dulwich boss two months later, assisted by his old Stones No.2 Terry Harris, but they were relegated from National League South on goal difference on the final day of the season.
Hopes of an immediate return were dashed as Hamlet finished 12th in the Isthmian Premier last season.
They were among the promotion favourites again this term but results have fallen short of board expectations.
