Manager Tommy Warrilow is angry and Farnborough have been warned to expect a Tonbridge backlash this weekend.

Last Saturday’s FA Cup defeat to St Albans City cost Tonbridge £7,500 prize money and a tie against Chatham in the fourth qualifying round.

Warrilow was distraught on the journey back home from St Albans and even more so when he heard Monday’s draw.

And his misery was compounded by fierce criticism from a minority of supporters on the Angels online message board.

Warrilow said: “I don’t go on my own forum but I’ve got friends and family who do. I’m not stupid, I get told what goes on there. It’s seven or eight people at most but they represent the fans.

“We didn’t deserve to win the game at St Albans. I’m not brushing it under the carpet because I was upset on the way back – it was a missed opportunity.

“No disrespect to Chatham (who have drawn St Albans at home) but the draw on Monday did make it worse, it re-opened the wound. I’m angry and the way I want to get that out is in the next game. I want to take it out on Farnborough, I want to get at them.”

One point separates the sides in Skrill South and Tonbridge have no injury concerns ahead of the game at Longmead, although Philip Appiah serves a one-match ban.
