Alex Flisher was buzzing after his injury-time winner for Maidstone against Gosport.
Flisher scored with virtually the last kick of the game to give Jay Saunders' side a 2-1 victory over their National League South play-off rivals on Saturday.
Tight hamstrings had put Flisher's comeback from a long-term knee injury on hold but after making a brief appearance against Concord a fortnight ago, he felt he could manage half an hour against Gosport.
And he capped a lively performance with a terrific winner after meeting Jack Paxman's flick.
Flisher said: "Scoring a goal that late gives everyone a bigger buzz.
"It’s one of the better goals I’ve scored here, I haven’t scored many good goals here, but it’s definitely one of the biggest buzzes I’ve had.
"I said in the changing room, it was either going in or it was going in the car park.
"I had a shot before that which hit the corner flag so it either goes one way or the other. I never miss by an inch!"
Stones are determined to tread carefully with Flisher's fitness after his recent setback.
