BEN FRANKHAM, of Maidstone's Westree Boxing Club, reached the semi-finals of the National Association of Boys Club championships with a decisive points win over Griffin Davies, of Wales, at St George's Hotel at Chatham.

The 15-year-old, who lives in the Tovil area of Maidstone, used his straight right hand to good effect to build up a 17-11 win under the computer system of scoring.

Frankham now fights for a place in the final at Bristol on saturday, November 24.
