KENT golfer Danielle Masters has turned pro just days after playing for her country in a high-profile Curtis Cup match against America.

Masters, a former student at St Simon Stock School at Maidstone, enjoyed the highs and lows of the women’s equivalent of the Ryder Cup in two days of golf at Formby in Lancashire.

The 21-year-old will play her first pro game next month at the English Open on the Chart Hills course near Biddenden.

Masters represents Bearsted and The Marrriot Tudor Park golf clubs and will attempt to qualify for the European and U.S. pro tour circuits.
