Maidstone defender Seth Nana Twumasi has the chance to make the right-back slot his own again.
Twumasi is back in favour after Lawrie Wilson returned to Ebbsfleet following a one-month loan.
Boss Harry Wheeler was impressed with his performance against Leyton Orient and praised the 28-year-old's attitude while out of the side.
Wheeler said: "Lawrie’s gone back now but I thought Seth Twumasi was fantastic.
"He’s been patient, he’s waited for his chance, his attitude’s been good since I’ve been in, even when he’s not been playing. I thought he was brilliant.
"We’d have liked to have kept Lawrie as well but they wanted him back, understandably, and unfortunately we couldn’t do that one."
Twumasi - one of Maidstone's best players last season - knows he has to maintain his levels.
Wheeler added: "You’re as good as your last game and Seth was fantastic so he has his shirt for next week.
"But Seth’s got to keep doing that, Blair Turgott's got to keep doing that, Jake Cassidy's got to keep doing that, Simon Walton, the centre-halves, they’ve all got to keep doing it.
"That’s football, it’s a competitive industry and it’s nice to be playing for something."
