Maidstone's men celebrated winning the Indoor Hockey League Division 2 title at the weekend.

Maidstone topped the six-team group after producing four wins and a draw from their five matches to finish a point clear of rivals Holcombe.

The key match between the pair was the first Maidstone played, and they powered to an excellent 9-6 victory on Saturday.

Maidstone followed it up with subsequent wins over Cannock (6-2), Sheffield University Bankers (7-2) and Southgate (4-2) while also drawing 5-5 against University of Exeter.
