Jay Saunders has called on Maidstone's home crowd to be back at their noisiest tonight.
There's plenty to shout about going into the Kent derby against Bromley with United fifth in the National League - just two points off top spot.
But Saunders felt the crowd were quiet in the last home game against Gateshead and he wants that to change under the lights.
The Stones boss said: "Hopefully we can get a good crowd down the Gallagher and get behind the boys.
"I thought it was really quiet when we played Gateshead.
"It was really flat and dead from the first minute and we don’t need that, we need everyone singing and getting behind the boys. Hopefully they’ll do that for us."
Joe Anderson and Reece Prestedge are set to line up against their old club as United defend their unbeaten home record, while Zavon Hines returns from suspension.
Bromley have lost their last two games, conceding an injury-time winner against Tranmere on Saturday, but they did the double over Maidstone last season and are a side Saunders rates.
He said: "It'll be a difficult one. They obviously started the season flying, they’ve had a couple of indifferent results lately but this league’s proved anyone’s capable of beating anyone.
"I get on really well with Smudge down there, he's a top bloke and he's assembled a good side."
