Southern Counties East Premier Division side K Sports have announced their new management team.
Barry Morgan will be in charge of the Cobdown-based side for the start of the 2021/22 season and will be assisted by former Gillingham and Dover coach Darren Hare.
New boss Morgan said: “I’m really happy to be coming aboard with the hugely experienced Darren Hare coming in to help me coach and manage the lads.
“The Committee really want us to bring the youth through and we’ll be happy to oblige when they are ready and able.
“Another part of our remit will be to stabilise the team in the SCEFL Prem. Our knowledge and experience will help the club attract the experienced players we will need to do that.
“I’d like to thank the Committee for bringing us on board. Hopefully, we can build something to be proud of.”
Hare quit his role as first team coach at Dover in November 2020. He had previously filled numerous roles as coach at Gillingham, including youth team manager. He has previously managed at Canterbury, Folkestone and Hastings.
Morgan has plenty of experience in management roles across the county, with the likes of Rochester United, Herne Bay and Sheppey.
