Maidstone United have announced new one-year deals for midfielders James Rogers and Alex Brown.
Rogers was named supporters' player-of-the-year after helping United to Ryman League Premier Division glory - his fifth promotion in eight years.
Stones boss Jay Saunders said: "There were a few people who didn't know much about Rogo when we got him in from Dover last summer but he's been superb.
"I was pleased he got the award from the supporters because he's a player who goes about his business unnoticed.
"Being left-footed, he gives us good balance in midfield. He always wants the ball and is solid and consistent, which is what you want.
"He has experience at a higher level and all our players would say they love playing with him because you know what you're going to get."
Crowd favourite Brown was used mainly as a substitute last season but Saunders sees him starting more games in the renamed National South.
Saunders said: "I like having him at the club and I feel sorry for him that he didn't get the games he deserved where we went with two sitting midfielders in James Rogers and Jack Parkinson.
"Next year will be different and there'll be times when we have to change shape to have three in the middle where the standard is a lot better.
"He'll get more games but the main thing with Browny is he loves the club and loves being here. It took all of 10 minutes to agree something."
